Rotarian Challenge & Local Share

Individual Rotarians are challenged to obtain donated goods & services to be auctioned off through an interactive online auction. Certificates varying from health, beauty, auto services, sports tickets, restaurants, accommodations, home goods, and golf, personal and professional services sell extraordinarily well. Physical items are to be photographed and maintained at the local level and shipped as needed.

Remember, the Auction is more than just asking for a donation, this is a great is an opportunity to showcase business products and services on the internet to thousands of unique visitors to this interactive site. The donor has a chance to provide photos, logos, detailed descriptions and a link to their website so the bidder can gain more insight.

The best part is that 75% of the money raised benefits Polio and 25% comes back to your club for your own local causes!

Event Details

The online auction opens to the public for viewing on November 9. Bidding occurs November 14 – 18. Data is inputted into an auction database with a complete description, photographs and logos, and a link to the donor’s website so viewers can click through for more information.

When the auction opens for bidding, each item will have a bid box showing the next available bid increment and the time remaining on the auction. Registered bidders can enter the next highest bid or the highest amount they would like to bid and the system will auto bid on their behalf.
