At our last meeting, Steve Miller and Joanie Iaco presented past-president, David Hussey, with a sapphire for his Paul Harris pin. David is now a Paul Harris Fellow Plus 2 which means he has donated at least $1000 per year for the past two years to the Rotary Foundation.

We also heard from Steve who gave a presentation called: Foundation 101 as an introduction for Rotary Foundation month. The mission of the Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotary members and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world. Steve is past president and past treasurer of the Bluffton Rotary Club, and is currently the Bluffton Rotary Foundation Chair. He is a partner at Webster Rogers, and has over thirty years of public accounting experience with an emphasis in taxation.
