Our speaker for our September 2 Meeting is Bethany Marcinkowski, Vice President Education Impact for United Way of the Lowcountry.
 
Born in New York and raised in the beautiful Lowcountry on Hilton Head Island, Bethany Marcinkowski has built a career rooted in service, leadership, and community impact.
 
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Bethany earned a bachelor's degree in Business along with an associate degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design.
 
Bethany has dedicated more than two decades to advancing the United Way's mission. Throughout her tenure, she has held several leadership positions, including Director of Campaign, Director of Resource Services, Director of Volunteer Services, and Director of Disaster Recovery. For the past 14 years, she has led the organization's education initiatives, working to improve outcomes for children and families across the Lowcountry.
 
In addition to her work with United Way, Bethany is a partner in Annie O's Kitchen on Hilton Head Island. She is also the proud mother of a son who lives in Charleston and shares her alma mater, the University of South Carolina.
Before joining United Way, Bethany lived in Colorado, where she worked as a product specialist and narrator for Audi of America and served as Director of Sales for an adventure company in Aspen. Earlier in her career, she managed three Benetton franchises on Hilton Head Island. These diverse experiences helped shape the leadership style and community-centered approach that continue to define her work today
