DISTRICT NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

She is a past president of the Bluffton Club and has provided invaluable leadership during district conferences and most recently, RI President D.K. Lee's visit to the Island in March. I am also pleased to announce that Sandee Brooks of the Hilton Head Island Club will be succeeding me as Assistant Governor at the end of this Rotary Year. Sandee is a past president of the Hilton Head Island club, a past District Secretary, and has enjoyed numerous other local and district responsibilities. I am pleased that our Area continues to be viewed by the District as fertile leadership ground. Both Karen and Sandee are a testimony to that. Please give them your support as they work into, and assume the responsibilities of their new roles under DGE Rick Moore. John A. Howe
