District Governor, Rick Moore is a native & lifelong resident of Charleston, South Carolina. He & wife (Ann) have been married for twenty-nine years and have two children; Mary (26) and Matthew (22).  Rick attended Clemson University & holds a B.S in Business from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. In his spare time he enjoys Flying, Sailing, Exercise & Scuba Diving.

Rick is President/CEO of Phoenix Recycled Products, Inc. a company he co-founded in 1983. Phoenix is a leading domestic/international supplier of Lawn & Garden products manufacturer from Recycled Rubber. Rick holds two U.S Patents and has several other "Patent Pending" products in various stages of development.

Rick joined the Summerville, South Carolina Rotary Club in 1988 where he was named Rookie Rotarian of the Year in 1989 and served as a Club Director for three years. After a few years off to complete business relocation, Rick joined the Charleston Breakfast Rotary Club in 1999. He was a Club Director, Funding Raising Chairman and Centennial Club President in Rotary Year 2004/2005. At the District level, Rick has served on the District Conference Planning Committee, as Area 7 Assistant  Governor, Water Resources and Grants Subcommittee Chair. He was awarded the Paul Harris Leadership Award in 2005/2006, Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service in 2006/2007 and District 7770 Rotarian of the Year in 2007/2008. Rick is a Bequest Society Member, Paul Harris Society Charter Member & Level II Major Donor.
