The Lowcountry Small Business Hub, developed by D'Jaris Moore and funded by a USDA grant, is a group of local business leaders who have banded together to provide "free" expertise, technology and meeting space to both entrepreneurs and existing small businesses in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper Counties.

Whether a business is in it's initial start-up phase or if the need is to grow an existing entity, the Business Hub partners are available to make referrals, help, assist and educate.

The Small Business Hub office, located in Hardeeville, has conference rooms, internet access, fax and copy machines, as well as other office equipment for clients to use with the assistance of a Hub staff member.

In addition, the Hub also offers the FastTrac™® program - a ten week educational program developed by the Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, Mo. The FastTrac™® program is a hands-on business development program designed to help entrepreneurs perfect the skills needed to create, manage and grow a successful business. For more information on the FastTrac® program and possible scholarship opportunities, call the Small Business Hub at 843.645.1992.

Visit the national FastTrac® website at http://fasttrac.org or the South Carolina FastTrac® website at http://www.fasttracsc.org

Businesses in the community can become a Partner of the Small Business Hub for only $49 a year. Sponsorships are also available.
