In light of the many challenges facing our Nation and our community, the need is great for club members to join one of our Rotary committees.
This week's committee spotlight is again on the Public Image Committee. Thank you to the club members who have joined this committee and have helped promote the Bluffton Rotary Club and our events on social media! This Committee is still in need of a new committee member(s) who can help submit press releases (we have a template you can use for the releases) to local media outlets and submit event information to media calendars to help advertise upcoming Rotary fundraisers.
The Public Image Committee works to educate the public about Rotary and to promote the Club’s service projects and activities. Please reach out to Kate at katemcclain74@gmail.com if you are interested in promoting the Bluffton Rotary Club through social media like Facebook and Instagram or by working with local media contacts to run advertising and calendar events in local newspapers. Either of these helpful promotional activities can be done from home sitting in your favorite comfy chair. We also need lots of photos from upcoming Rotary events. Please forward photos with a brief description to Kate so she can include them in the newsletter or use them to increase our Club’s social media presence.
