In light of the many challenges facing our Nation and our community, the need is great for club members to join one of our Rotary committees.

This week's committee spotlight is on the Sergeant-At-Arms Committee.

The Sergeant-At-Arms Committee members help organize and coordinate our weekly member meetings. The weekly meetings have been more limited and are on Zoom for the foreseeable future because of Covid-19; however, we can still use members to help coordinate the meetings with other committees to arrange speakers and to generate ideas to engage members at the (Zoom) meetings.

Once we are able to return to in-person weekly member meetings, the committee members help with many of the logistical aspects of our meetings. We need members to help with the following duties: Ensure timely set-up for every meeting; Set up of AV equipment, flags and banners; Ensure every active member has a name tag and visitor tags are available for visiting Rotarians and guests; Announce birthdays and anniversaries for club members each week and track members who are in the news to announce at club meetings.

Please reach out to Morgan Crutchley at crutchleymo@gmail.com if you have ideas for engaging content or speakers for our Zoom meetings or if you are interested in assisting him run our member meetings.
