Originally from upstate SC, Daniel is a 1994 graduate of Furman University where he was member of the 1993 Southern Conference Champion men’s golf team. Daniel has called the Lowcountry home since 1996 and he and wife Debbie are Realtors with Charter One Realty's "Charles Sampson Group". In May of 2012, the couple made the greatest decision of their life by adopting precious daughter, Lilyanna Eden, now 11 and a thriving 6th grader at HH Christian Academy.
Daniel met wife Debbie in a 2005 production at May River Theatre. In 2015, the couple joined the board at Main Stage Community Theatre where Daniel serves as Vice Chairman. Daniel has appeared in close to 40 stage productions across the Lowcountry, most notably appearing as the nefarious Gaston in The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina’s 2006 production of “Beauty and the Beast”. He combines his passion for serving youth, the arts and his community with the goal of growing MSCT’s mission of “engaging the artist in anyone and inspiring the arts in everyone" 
Additionally, Daniel has been a color commentator for the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage since 2012 and is co host with Tom Kinder on the “Heritage Wrap Show”. He also works as color commentator alongside Marcus Walsh for WHHI Sports TV’s High School Football Bowl Series.
