Waddell Mariculture Center

I will be speaking about The Open Land Trust and the Benefits of Green Space.

Al retired in 2018 from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.    He spent more than 41 years with the Marine Division’s Waddell Mariculture R & D Center and 18.5  years as its director.

Al is a  board member of the Open Land Trust and a member of May River Watershed Advisory Committee for the Town of Bluffton.

Al is currently consulting on shrimp aquaculture and environmental research projects.
