Charitable Giving Update
As many of you already know, the Bluffton Rotary Club is a long time partner with both Bluffton Self Help and the Greater Bluffton Jasper County Volunteers in Medicine, and our Club often donates it services and funds to each throughout the year. Most recently, this was a $5,000.00 donation approved at our last held business meeting. During these critical times, the Club challenges you to continue donating what you can as these organizations navigate through the multitude of unexpected community needs.
Bluffton Rotary Club's Second Little Free Library
On April 21, 2020, Bluffton Rotary Club installed our second Little Free Library at the Martin Family Park. These Little Free Librarys help promote literacy and the gift of learning in our community. If anyone is deep cleaning/organizing during this stay at home time frame and would like to donate (get rid of) books, please call Dot Jeger for pickup.

The Historic Bluffton Foundation, has announced the release of a 40-minute documentary film titled, "Bluffton, SC - A May River State of Mind". The film is available for viewing or download for FREE on the Foundation’s website at HeywardHouse.org

Created by the Foundation over the last three years, the film was partly financed by Foundation member, Melanie Marks and the Rotary Club of Bluffton. The film features comments edited from interviews of 21 local townsfolk, who each have a part in the story of Bluffton in the early 20th century. The release of the film comes at a time when reaching out through social media and the internet creates a special opportunity for local and regional viewership. HBF Executive Director, Kelly Graham, says, “in this film, the people and the magic of our historic, riverfront village are on full display”
