Have you filled out the documentation and submitted it for consideration to be a Paul Allen Ten-Star Rotarian? Many Bluffton Rotarians may already qualify for the Ten-Star designation. Documents were sent to all Rotarians in their email, and the description of a Ten-Star Rotarian is below.
What Is The Paul Allen Ten-Star Rotarian Award?
The Paul Allen Ten-Star Rotarian Award was created to recognize Rotarian Members who have taken the time to hold leadership positions, who have visited other clubs, and participated in training events, conferences, and conventions. The designation of a Rotarian as a Paul Allen Ten-Star Rotarian is based on the member earning a minimum of 110 points for certain services he/she has rendered to their club and Rotary. Of the 110 points required to be a Ten-Star Rotarian 25 of those are "must have" points. The activities vary to achieve points, and many members may already have all the required points or are close to having 110 points to be recognized.

The Ten-Star Program was initially started as a promotional activity to increase attendance and maintain interest in the Rotary Club of West Point, Mississippi in 1935. It was approved as a voluntary activity for interested clubs and was introduced officially to affiliate clubs at the 1960 Rotary International Convention in Miami. The initial program installation for the Rotary Club of Five Points was held July 3, 1964. Since that time, the Rotary Club of Five Points has been the sole provider and sponsor of the Paul Allen Ten-Star Rotarian Program for all of Rotary.
