RECAP: August 25th Board Meeting
The following items were discussed at the last board meeting.

Club Administrator Chair, Mary O’Neill, gave an update regarding The Arts & Sea Food Festival.  This year's festival will take place, but as a Re-Imagined Event. It will be held October 17th thru October 26th.  Look for more information and a schedule of events to come.

The Fundraising Committee discussed turkey, pork butts, & beef brisket sales as a possible fundraiser near Thanksgiving.  If you would like to volunteer to help with fundraising endeavors, please contact Megan Mack and Morgan Crutchley.

If you have a request for a donation or grant, please refer them to the folks on the Charitable Giving Committee: George Holske, Jean Heyduck, and Michael Raymond.

District Membership Summit – there are two sessions left in the Membership Summit that will focus on growing club membership. Whether you are part of the club's leadership, or you have just joined Rotary, everyone is able to help increase club membership. Each session will cover different topics including, attrition vs. attraction, defining intentional strategies to find your prospective members and encourage them to join, and ways to make sure your club retains your current members.
Please contact Joanie or Alan for further details.

The schedule for club meetings in September--the next club meeting will be September 16th and the speaker will be Rod Funderburk Cart Fund/Alzheimer’s Liaison. September 23rd is our 2nd Rotary Meeting for the month and the District Governor will attend.
