HAPPY 116TH BIRTHDAY ROTARY

Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world. Happy 116th Birthday to all Rotarians and Happy World Understanding and Peace Day!!

WEDNESDAY MORNING MEETING

Please join us for our morning meeting at 7:30 am Wednesday, February 23rd and wear your Yellow Rotary Shirt for a group photo to support our House of Friendship Project.

This will be our monthly Business Meeting and Student of the Month Presentation. See you all there in a "Sea of Yellow" Shirts!!!

RECAP: FEBRUARY 16TH CLUB MEETING

What a motivating and heartfelt presentation from ShelterBox Ambassador Mr. Mark McCain last week! ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity established in 2000 that provides emergency shelter and other aid items to families around the world who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict. Rotary is a proud partner in their mission to serve those in need when called upon!! Thank you Mark!

CHARITABLE GIVING PROGRAM

**SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 16TH 2022** The Rotary Club of Bluffton is accepting applications from local 501(c)(3) organizations for grants awarded through their charitable giving program. The Club offers grants up to $5,000 to qualified nonprofits. To qualify, organizations must serve individuals or families that live or work in or near Bluffton. Grants are awarded for projects that align with one of Rotary’s six focus areas: promote peace; fight disease; provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; save mothers and children; support education; or grow local economies.
