Arts & Seafood Dinner Recap
The Arts & Seafood Dinner Soiree was this past Saturday evening on the grounds of the Heyward House Museum. A delicious catered boxed-dinner from Southern Spice Catering was served and there was music, dancing and history. Tables were limited and spaced more than six feet apart. Folks were having fun but still taking care to be socially distanced. Seventy-four tickets were sold and $100 of each ticket was split between two beneficiaries--the Bluffton Historic Preservation Society and the Bluffton Rotary Club. Special thanks to Mary O'Neill for all her hard work and making this event happen during COVID-19 and raising $3700 for the club!

UPCOMING SERVICE PROJECTS
Here's an update on Service Projects that we have lined up for the last quarter of this year.  Please consider volunteering for one of these amazing organizations!

Arts and Seafood Re-Imagined Festival
  • Sign-up sheets for volunteer opportunities to help with the festival can be found under the Upcoming Events section on our club website or from the bulletin.
  • We need many more volunteers for Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th. Most shifts are in two-hour increments--if you have a free morning or afternoon that weekend, please join your fellow Rotarians and help raise money for the community!
Bluffton Self Help Thanksgiving and Holiday Food Drive
  • Sign-up sheet for volunteering to deliver and pick-up food and toy boxes to local Bluffton businesses.  Sign-up sheets can be found under the Upcoming Events section on our club website or from the bulletin.
    • Each shift will be 1-2 hours a day in the morning.
    • May need to drive BSH van if large number of boxes need to be delivered or picked up.  If so, you will have to sign a waiver with BSH.
  • If you own or work at a business that would like to sponsor a food or toy drive for BSH, please contact Jim Evans and he can assist you on setting this up.  It's simple--just call Jim at #770-335-3524.
  • Details of BSH Toy Drive are not available yet.
  • If you plan on attending the Hybrid Rotary meetings in October, please raid your food pantries and bring items listed below to the meetings to donate.
