Nancy is excited to join us to share insights with us on what hospice really does, and the things many people do not know about end of life care.
Last Wednesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Rotary District Governor Bob Gross as our speaker. Attendees were reminded of the impacts that we make, both locally and internationally, what it means to be a Rotarian, what our area focuses are, and so much more. It’s an exciting time to be a Rotarian!
This is just a reminder that we have a ROCS day on Saturday and it is open to all clubs. We have activities at VIM, Deep Well, Memory Matters, and The Children's Center on the island as well as Family Promise in Bluffton. The Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island is sponsoring lunch at Jarvis Creek Park after for all participants.
This is a great opportunity for our club and any prospective members who need to fulfill their service project requirements for our club.
Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Bluffton showed up in force this past weekend for the 33rd Annual Beach Sweep/River Sweep at the Oyster Factory Park!
ROTARY CLUB OF BLUFFTON ACCEPTING GRANT APPLICATIONS
Bluffton, SC – The Rotary Club of Bluffton is accepting applications from local 501(c)(3) organizations for grants awarded through their charitable giving program.
The Club offers grants up to $5,000 to qualified nonprofits. To qualify, organizations must serve individuals or families that live or work in or near Bluffton. Grants are awarded for projects that align with one of Rotary’s six focus areas: promote peace; fight disease; provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene; save mothers and children; support education; or grow local economies. This is the first of two grant cycles the Club conducts each year.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 4, 2022.
A full list of grant guidelines, along with the application form and step-by-step application process, can be found on the Bluffton Rotary Club website (blufftonrotary.org), under the Charitable Giving Process tab. To be considered for a grant, organizations must complete the entire grant application form.
