NEW HOSPITAL SERVICES

Mary Anne Dabeck spoke to The Bluffton Rotary Club on April 8th, regarding the services offered at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Bluffton Medical Services.  BeaufortMemorialHospital, the only nonprofit hospital between here and Charleston, is in its 65th year of operation.  It recently opened the Bluffton Medical Services 3 years ago.  This office is located in WestburyPark in the same building as Wachovia Bank.  Services offered include primary care, imaging, OB/GYN, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, oncology and neurology.

The office has recently renovated the 2nd floor of the building and is now complete with a rehabilitation gym.  The newest services being offered are bone density scans, ultrasound, and mammography.  Women especially are encouraged to take advantage of these services on a regular basis.  The office has started with volunteers that are very eager to help.  Mary Anne noted that the office is not a walk in clinic, but encouraged everyone to bring their orders for lab work or imaging for services to be performed.  She invited the club to the open house in June but an individual tour could be given at any time.  For more information call 843-706-8660.
