Mike Raymond Adds Author to His Portfolio

As a Bluffton Town Councilman, Bluffton Township Fire District Commissioner and a member of the Bluffton Rotary, Mike Raymond stays very busy. Yet, he recently added author, editor, self- publisher, cover artist, and promoter to his many titles.

Mike explained that he actually started writing “Prophetess” 10 years ago, but the old slow process of trying to publish a book was very difficult. However, with the development of E-books, Mike was able to self- publish “Prophetess” under the pen name M..J. Raymond.
“Prophetess” follows the experiences of a teenage girl, who begins to realize she has a power that gives her the ability to see into the future. And, when others find out about her clairvoyant power she is forced to run. Alone and thousands of miles from home, Dannilee Rose Bennett must learn how to use her special power, distinguish friends from foe and try to discern between good and evil.
