Our First Believing in Bluffton Mercedes fund raiser made $ 24,000.00!  $10,000 of that has already been donated to the Bluffton Community Foundation

 

During the business meeting on Wednesday, January 28th, Michele Hunter recognized and awarded prizes to the Rotarians who received the checkered flag for being top contributors for the success of the Believing in Bluffton Campaign.

Members of the 1st place team received a "Believing in Bluffton" Team trophy, a private cocktail reception for team members and spouses, six pack of home brew compliments of Mike Tripka, hooded jackets embroidered with Believing in Bluffton and Rotary logo (compliments of Deborah Karambelas), a Rotary make-up certificate and media recognition. Congratulations team!

Second place team members received goody bags filled with: a six pack "Custom home brew" compliments of Mike Tripka, gourmet food items from Sable & Rosenfeld donated by Mary O'Neill, plus items donated by Mike O'Neill and Valpak, a Bluffton Rotary crab hat and media coverage.

 

Deborah Karambelas sold the most tickets during our team race. Deborah received a free ticket for a chance to win the Mercedes.  In addition, she received a bottle of absolute as thanks during Wednesday's meeting.

 

Our first place winner in Overall ticket sales was Donna Huffman.  She also received a free ticket for a chance to win the Mercedes and on Wednesday, she received a bottle of Crown Royal for "taking the crown".
